I think they do not have enough green cards for the rest of the fiscal year. They will process only what they already have!

sad news but sometimes retrogression happens when approaching the end of fy. it is not necessarily the end of the world, I'm confident in October vb they will go back to 15OCT again or even in NOV.

I don’t think it matters much, since people with priority dates in September or October are unlikely to receive their green cards within the remaining two months anyway. The dates are likely to advance in October, and things should start improving soon.

@Orobola Olajide I mean it’s the end months of current fiscal year. People with PD around July are getting their green card now. Due to availability of green card in the end of year, which is usually limited, I believe (it’s what I think, maybe wrong) people with pd after August even are less likely to get their green card in upcomming 2-3 months!
