EB-1B I-140 finally approved after more than 15 months.
Took a long time but it finally happened. 485 was not applied concurrently but after 6 months of I-140. Is there a chance 485 gets approved within FY2022 quota?

My understanding is that all EB-1 and EB-2 green cards are already accounted for this FY2022...or so USCIS said on Sept. 6th. However, I think it depends on whether a number is linked to an in process 485 or not. Not sure if that is helpful. I'm waiting on an EB-2 myself and guessing it will be after October 1st.

@ Irene - if you look up the legal declaration by Andrew Parker at the Dept of State, you should be able to find it.
The declaration notes that all EB1 and EB2 immigrant visa numbers have been used for the current fiscal year, which ends on September 30, 2022. Therefore, no more adjustment of status applications or immigrant visas filed in these categories will be approved until October 1, 2022.

@A M: I checked the FAQ and it says that 281507 is the EB annual limit for FY2022 and till late august 263510 have been used.

@ TC - could be right and hopefully they have more available. But this declaration was from September 6th and was in a response to a lawsuit. Several law firms are posting info on this too:
