work permit(EAD) is always 1year or 2years renewable. only green card is 2years or 10years. since your marriage is over 2years,once your i485 got approved then you get 10years green card.

they started giving 2 years work permit because of there backlog and buying time to process application

only GC is 10 years, EAD are for a year and some like yours are for 2years. I think you mistaken green card for EAD.

@grace once you get your GC you don’t need the EAD to work as the GC gives you permission to work. so you will be ok to work for ten years once that comes. in the meantime as people have said, you can use your ead for two years to work

if you guys that say ead are for 1year read news often you would have know they changed 1year ead since last year April to 2year even it your first ead cos of the backlog the lady said above. the processing times since when d covid have grown worst up till this moment, only few people get their green card approved. lots of people are waiting for decisions from 1month to till date..

I created an account with USCIS so I added all my receipts numbers . I clicked on EAD receipt number and I saw the document
