EAD approved after two expedite requests.
Reason: I have a job- healthcare/public health research. Second request was denied on Thursday (request was made on Tuesday). To my surprise, card is being produced.
My advice: be persist with your expedite requests. I made two requests in less than three weeks. Good luck to everyone still waiting for approvals.

Hello Ricky, you don't pay to expedite your work authorization, based on my understanding (I did not pay). However, you must have a genuine and convincing reason to make a request. In addition, requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, so it is not guaranteed. Lastly, I called them; I did not use Ema.

I have been waiting in about 9 months, i got one expedite denied on may 31, 2022 without asking for RFE, I just submitted another one last week and they also denied me too, without RFE

@ John, I am sorry to hear, keep trying. They denied my two requests too without RFE. I am surprised they approved it yesterday. Like I said they review on a case-by-case basis. I will completing my doctorate next month and I have another EAD application pending through my student status. I guess that was why I got an approval because they brought up my second EAD pending case when I called to expedite.

yeah, I paid the rent for 8 months without working using my saved budget as I thought Its should be process no longer than that but all retrogression destroyed my plan

@ Ak M, I haven't. I believe you get a tracking number once it is shipped. I will give it 2 weeks.
