did you do expedite?

@Olivia, yepp, I expedited my EAD and both EAD and AP changed to ‘card being mailed to me’ today. my AP is 2 months outside of processing time but I don’t think it would get approved w/o the expedite req on the EAD

@Olivia, I did it on June-8th and I didn’t get a response for a long time but I didn’t call them because I was waiting for my bio on June-29th and then I called them the same day.

@zeeshan thanks! they asked for documents supporting my claim for financial loss - in my case it was a job offer letter and I attached a letter saying that it would relieve my husband as the only breadwinner and that I will start paying taxes and that my employer will face operational difficulties if it gets delayed more. that’s it. @arvind - depends on what reason you gave for the expedite request - you need to documents supporting that; in my case it was a job offer letter but I know people got approved based on their bank statements(showing debt or low resources), high bills etc

@Basia, Congrats! besides job offer letter, did you just literally wrote down by yourself explaining your employer will face operational difficulties? Do you think it will work with job offer letter with one bank statement based on your experience? I already requested for 131 but not 765 yet though.

@Dokdo thanks! and yes, that’s what I did. I guess every case is different and you won’t know it’s going to work until you try. I would just say to send in everything you think might help and hope for the best 😊

have u received the card yet? my status is stuck at card was mailed to you from 7/12 but when I chatted with Emma live agent says it has not been mailed yet. ugh this waiting is killing me.

@hopefor2021 I didn’t! mine changed on 7/12 too. I asked Emma today too and they said it was mailed but no tracking no.. srsly tho 😅 Let me know if you get it or the status changes again! (technically it should change to “picked up by usps” with tracking number..)

okay - I heard someone else with our timeline received it today without tracker and same situation the status was stuck at mailed out. hopefully we get it soon but yeah I’ll let you know if I get it. I have my mailing address at my lawyer’s office and they don’t work in office today/tmr so I’ll have to wait until Monday to find out. was hoping to get it yesterday so I can stop by to pick up.

@hopefor2021 ahh wouldn’t that be nice to be surprised in a good way for once! I was wondering if they didnt send it to my lawyer but every other letter was delivered straight to me.. I will give them a call tmw.

i 131 Fingerprints were made on 07/02/2021 when do you expect to receive it ..Nebraska Service Center..

update: I got my EAD card last week on Thu - it went to my lawyer’s office.. I only found out because the status changed on Mon to “card was picked up by USPS” and the tracking showed it was delivered to the address of my lawyer.
