Didn’t get Invoice ID from NVC
Hey everyone! my US fiancé and I recently got notification that our K1 case is being transferred to the consulate here in my local country. We got the new case number but did not get an invoice ID so we can’t log into the CEAC portal to pay the fees and submit financial support documents. We tried the trick of using the applicant’s DD-MMM-YYYY but it didn’t work. Has anyone been in a similar situation? The phone lines seem to be a problem so not sure if there’s another way we can contact them to get the ID. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

April 25th. He got the email on Tuesday to inform us the case has been completed at NVC and will now be sent to the consulate here in my home country. We have the new NVC case number but he didn’t get an Invoice ID

when they sent you welcome letter saying that they will send your k1 to consulates there’s both invoice and case number included.. well I got both in that letter

I never got Invoice and I didn’t need it, my embassy site only asked for NVC case and uscis case

@Cinandi- Did you get Invoice ID number yet? Mine is also having same issue. I have NVC case number but no Invoice ID number.

@I-140 we didn’t but we got an email from my local consulate with the next steps I need to take to get my interview scheduled. I did submit an inquiry the day after I posted this but they haven’t checked those yet.

our transfer is in progress, it’s been 5 weeks already- but we never got a new case number. how did you get it? we’re transferring it from Poland to El Salvador. do you know who should we contact?(

Curious if anyone got answers on this issue. I am facing the same. I received letter from NVC with approved petition, I have new NVC case number but no Invoice ID. Can anyone else expand on if their interview went through okay? - how did you pay for the visa fees if you can't create a CEAC login or enter.
