@Jerry Moyes you have 30days from receive date to file form I 290B. Get a psychological evaluation or therapist report to show you went through abuse, a diagnosis for PTSD, anxiety etc. to help explain your mental state at the time of filling. To prove bonafide marriage send pictures of wedding, ring receipts, letters(affidavits) from friends that attended your wedding, text messages b/n you and spouse. Pictures of trips you went on together, if you met their family and have pictures include that too. Get police report and tax transcripts to show you have a good moral character.

You need to get a lawyer to help you fix the mistakes and then appeal, there are many people who get approval after they submit appeal

@tired from waitingg @Jerry Moyes I’m in a similar situation as you all. My VAWA case has been pending since December 2019 — it’s stuck in security clearance,based on last congressman inquiry . I got 6 primaface in total. I’ve tried everything possible to get an update, but there’s been no progress. When I spoke to my lawyer, he advised against going the mandamus route. He said there’s a high chance they might try to reject the case if I push it that way. According to him, many cases from 2019 to 2021 are still delayed due to COVID-related backlogs and ongoing background checks. I completely understand your frustration. Hang in there — you’re not alone. File I 290 B motion with all the new documents and your case will get resolved soon. my prayers are with you

@waiting_since Dec_2019 I knew it was risky but chance to see my dad alive is very low now. He is very old, sick and tired. I just wanted to try. He is the man that made the person I am today I just couldn’t sit and do nothing. I lost but inside me I know I did my best.
