Denial
Our petition was denied because they said our marriage is invalid even though it is. Same sex couple btw, we sent legal evidence of its validity in the country we married and in the U.S.. I’ll be submitting for review again.

they asked me to prove it pretty much with RFE and we did and spent $500 for a lawyer to pen the document and translate it and they still denied it. I don’t even think they read it tbh, probably just wanted to deny it anyways. This was Nebraska service center.

@F H it’s silly that they sent it there considering I live in California and our marriage is legally recognized here and codified into our state constitution. It feels like discrimination.

@F H the wording was similar to same sex marriage invalidity and they requested additional evidence to prove it which I provided from a lawyer and they still denied me
