Day 1 CPT
Can I apply for Day 1 CPT while my Greencard is still in process. My EAD will expire soon so I am planning to do Day 1 CPT to keep me in status. I just want to ask if this Day 1 CPT program will not affect my greencard process. Thank you

Yes, you can. I’m also an international student working with day 1 cpt and my company sponsored my green card. I’m in the last phase of the process and just got my biometrics done today.

I’ve been waiting a couple of years already, so it didn’t just start. I know it’ll take more time. honestly I’d be satisfied with just the work permit at this point

I'm writing to everyone about any case that you have pending. Please take the time to write your local congressman about your pending USCIS case. We need to put pressure on this system. Look up your local congressman, they should have a web page where you can discuss an issue. Choose immigration or anything close and give a brief description of your case. Include your case #. We need to band together to create change. SPREAD THE WORD! Do this today lets help each other out.
