convo card
I’m traveling to my home country (Mexico) via car with a convo card, should I be worried for re entry my lawyer said I should be fine. What documents I do need to take with me other than my EAD card with AP and passport? any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on getting your combo card. Traveling with a combo card is a safe however, know that if you case is a denied while you are outside your combo card is not valid and you will not be allowed in.
With that being said, you only need your combo card and passport.

Hi, how are you? I saw that you received the combo card but the i131 is still in process. Did you receive the combo card even without the approval of the i131?
Thanks!!

@Lucio Mansilla I received a letter saying “ We have approved your application for employment authorization and advance parole, The EAD card will have an 1-512 endorsement on it, which indicates that you have been approved for advance parole.”
USCIS website under documents says I been approved for combo card.

@Lucio Mansilla honestly I’m not sure why it hasn’t updated, my lawyer also said I was approved for conbo card. It did take about a month after I received the letter to show that my I-765 was approved on the lawfully/ case tracker app, not sure if the system isn’t being updated on time
