Yes you have to go to the interview and explain you want you case be held in obeyance to filing VAWA

@shan Luke vawa is a very long process maybe for you it can be shorter because of the fact that you filed those applications as well as it can still take up to the 4 year mark…it’s really a hit and miss but I would never advice you to stay in your current situation especially where abuse is concerned but just be mentally prepared to sit the wait out for another couple of years because it’s mentally physically and emotionally draining.

I know it is had but have been i that shoes. if you can manage your spouse and get the green card i will advice you to do that. i have a friend who have an abusive wife. he spent money for everything yet the lady smoke weed and bring men to the house. he ran for his life but talk to her on phone. they went to the interview together. Today he has his 10yrs green card.

@megito My ex wife’s like that but on our interview she created a whole scene and won’t attend and moved out of the house so these women are different in craziness
