case transferred to new jurisdiction
Hey guys! please I’m confused. my adjustment of status that is based on pending vawa was changed to transferred to new jurisdiction. I checked my vawa and it is still showing pending.
Does it mean my vawa has been approved and maybe not yet updated?? if not why would uscis transfer my adjustment of status to a new location if my vawa is not yet approved.
any ideas will help. Thank you!

it could mean they moved your case to another office that will handle your case better either for workload reasons or expert reasons. It will still await the VAWA decision while it is in the new jurisdiction

they sent me a letter that explains why my case was transferred. so guess I’ll find out in couple of days.

@Landofthe brave I envisage that they have approved your VAWA bcos the next set of approvals should be btw August to October 2021.
