I don’t know if it was closed before now, I went for my interview got an RFE and replied and haven’t heard anything since then

I didn’t get approved for anything before now, while waiting for approval I travelled out of the country with my husband with AP, 5days after my return to the US I got an update that says case was reopened for reconsideration from their earlier decision… What I don’t get is no decision was sent to me before I travelled, my status was still interview was scheduled even after I had completed my interview and replied the RFE I got ok the day of the interview, the status was still interview scheduled

i believe it triggered case abandonment once you left the country but once you returned, it reopened. i think its a computer thing. Just a guess

so u had AP and EAD and u travelled out of the country on AP while ur case was still under review and got this update. yes it might be a computer thing only but it’s just my guess ..

I got the approval notice and then my case is reopen for reconsider now its been 10 months no update..😔😔😔
