what is your PD?

did you apply the i140 as single applicants and put your wife only in i485? if so, it's most likely the reason you got the interview

@Anto A can you expand upon this? I got I140 while single, got married, and filed together. does this necessarily mean interview?

@f b that's what my lawyer said, if you have a spouse, be sure to put them in i140 otherwise it will trigger the interview when adjusting status. that being said, we should expect no more interview waivers in the future, they already did recently for non immigrant visas.

@Tiago Araujo After 4 days I was scheduled for an interview. My PD is also June.

@Tiago Araujo I had interview yesterday. My PD Was 20Jun23, RD 07Oct24, ready for scheduling interview on 03June25, scheduled for 08Aug on 23 June. interview lasted 10-15 min for both me and my wife together. Status changed to new card is being produced within 30 mins of interview.

@Tiago Araujo Yes, we had interview together. Nothing specific, Interview lasted less than 10 minutes. Just went over my I485 form and verified a few basic dates like DOB, Marriage dates, last entry date and status, current status and work.
