had my interview today and the officer told us that the case was approved on the spot! super excited and feel very lucky and blessed :)

I totally get you! our officer was seriously the sweetest man - we laughed a lot - could never imagine he would ever have swung out a mean or unasked for comment - THOUGH if something like that ever happen in there I hope you can ‘brush it off’ in the moment and then PLEASE report it after - the power dynamic is simply so off in there and it’s important to educate and hold people accountable for their actions🌈 I found that it’s good practice to ask eachother basic questions beforehand so you don’t get nervous in there - like what date did we first meet? was it you or me? who wanted to get married first?
You are going to crush it and remember to plan something to celebrate after! ❤️❤️❤️
