Rup Kaur no way 3 yers just for interview letter from NVC check out with NVC they have proberly send you email or mail notice what should happen next and if there is any mistake. The longest that take NVC is 3-6 month and no way 3 years

NVC welcome lettters says "If you do not log into CEAC or communicate with NVC regarding this immigrant visa case for a period of one year, by law the Department of State must terminate your visa application"....so no way 3 years cuz in period of one year if you are not show yourself or communicate with them you case is terminated... log in at CEAC and communicate with them hopefully case is not cancelled. Wish you best luck.
