thanks! I’m also applying for a parent through consular processing and my service center is Nebraska too! my PD is 12/04/2020 and I received the ‘actively reviewing’ on 1/19/21. Hopefully we get approval soon!

Just out of curiosity, did you send any additional evidence like pictures or anything with your application? seems like the ones getting approved showed more evidence

no I send evidence yet..they might need hopefully not..

no I’m a USC, idk why but it’s been really random, some get approved within a week after submission, some takes a full year

Rica they might want to see parent child bond between child and parents..maybe like pic insurance..sometimes DNA if we don't have enough proof ..
