well my mum applied for me unmarried son under 21 when I was back home so I join the here in the us in 2017 I had an 2 years work permit and in 2020 I filed for my i485 and I never went to an interview in the usa

Hey Tidiane, I have a similar case can you tell me which field office did you have? Did you turn 21 before the case was approved?

nb im 30 now but when my mum applied for me I was under 21 that mean many years ago so if the case has been filed before you turn 21 they will keep the original filling date but they don’t consider the age you have now I hope that help

congratulations they sent me medicals exactly 1month now how long before they schedule my interview since you been there

no I did not have an interview they waived it after I submit my medical in may 2021 they said that I’ll get a decision in 60 days but I had an decision one year later so every case is special you can get you interview soon or it’s gonna be a long wait depend on the field office the Nebraska field office is very slow thank you
