Car financing !
Hi All. my green card has expired and I received my extension form and I’m working normally. the sales person at the dealership told me I might get refused for not having a stable case or the bank might give me a loan for the duration of my extension letter only ! I wonder if anyone has any information or experience in something like that.

I think that car guy is a moron. your Gc expiry has nothing to do with your LPR status. you are still an LPR. go find another dealer.

I had the same thing. I got a letter from my employer saying that I was in the GC process and that was enough.

Have the letter explicitly say that you are filing for permanent residency, your annual salary, your visa type, your start date, and do it on letterhead. hopefully that helps!
