cancelation of NOID
today I received an email from uscis that my request for evidence is canceled. my husband and I went for an interview in March and the officer said that she will request for my file from uscis cause don't have the naturalization certificate i only have my US passport. i told her I became a citizen through my mother, and she said she will need to investigate and verify that is fact. I would like to know what is that mean? please can someone help me to understand. thank you.

maybe they don’t need any RFE from you . i sent my RFE the day the requested it and they canceled the RFE but was approved in a week
