Can you change your employer if you are on L1, but have EAD and waiting for I-485 decision?
Hi everyone, Can you change your employer if you are on L1 visa, but have received EAD and waiting for I-485 decision? I-140 was approved more than 180 days ago... Thanks!

You can but the new employer has to file a new form and pay for it. I am on the same boat and my attorneys suggested not to do it.

you can change if i485 is pending more than 180 days

if it’s same role / similar position you can move by submitting 485J and A21, if not better to wait
