Biometry for I130 Us Citizen Petitioner
Our PD is 1st April 2024, almost 16 months. Yesterday we reveived a request letter for a schelduled biometry for the US citizen petitioner.
I don't know what this mean and if it's unusual for a citizen petitioner to be called up for biometry. will this cause a delay in our case or what should we expect from here going forward. anyone with similar expericence or who have any idea on the impilications of this?

its a way of determining if a US citizen is eligible to sponsor you for greencard it's usually when they doubt Adam walch in your case my husband US citizen did biometrics because he had a case of child abuse it's rare

my pd is also 1st April 2024 , Nebraska . my petitioner also got biometrics he is us citizen . I called uscis they said just do the biometrics. everything has changed now

everything have changed would you believe my did interview for my son's who are outside of the country. it feel weird but just do what they asked just to avoid denial
