biometrics
7 days after my extension letter arrived, my biometrics appointment was scheduled. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did it take a long time for the card to arrive after that?

After biometrics for a renewal/extension case, some receive the card fairly quickly, while for others it can still take weeks or a few months depending on the case type and background processing. Biometrics scheduling itself is generally a positive sign that the case is moving internally.
