have no idea stuck since January 2021 idk what background they are checking

@tired from waitingg question, how did u know it’s because they checking background?

After My interview it took them 12 Months to do my background Checks. each time I called they said they are doing My background until all the required Background checks are completed before they can make a Decision. I called them 4 times and I sent online request twice for case out of normal processingtime. I contacted congressman and she contacted them they said same thing. Exactly 12 Months My case was approved and I got My GC within 2 weeks.

I have similar case, i360 approved sep 2024, i485 no updates I tried to speak to uscis represntative they says background check security clearance no further info or required..it stuck on background for 11 months now..

@blessed & favored my uncle is total BS back in home last name is same but first name is not do you think that would affecting my case stuck in background check ?i know it doesn’t make sense but they make me think anything 😂

@tired from waitingg have you tried it? I heard it’s actually not a good idea they might just deny it straight instead of sending an RFE. Not sure how true that is though
