Asylum
Hello everyone,
My case was approved last week after three years of waiting. I did not file a Writ of Mandamus (WOM). A few months ago, I reached out to my congressional representative, and they contacted USCIS on my behalf.
I’m sharing this to encourage someone today. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but don’t give up. Stay patient, keep praying, and trust that your time will come. Wishing everyone who is still waiting the very best.

@Wise Man I reached out to my congressional representative on May 15. They had to contact several offices to locate my case. Once they found it, USCIS responded to them on June 24, saying that my case was still pending. Then, on July 15, my case was approved.
