April 7,2023 I just received my second RFE this week. both times I received an RFE was for requests of documents that I had originally sent with my packet

@satty s first you need to contact your congressman if your I-485 is out of processing time in my experience what I do 90% case work and approve with congressman if your case is Straight if not work then you need to do mandamus,,,,

15 months is within the normal processing times

Cheaper option is to file as pro se, as we did. Do youtube search "writ of mandamus pro se" we got helped from there with mandamus and guide.

@vivian obasuyi Google “House of Representatives” and put in your zip code on the website. and then your address and it will show you your congress… and then click on federal agency help and fill out form. it was easy it takes five minutes.

@Cerj Raj So you filed your own mandamus successfully?

April 12th here, 15 months is not within the normal processing time that’s what the USCIS agent told me and she open a service request for me and told me to wait 30 days. You have to contact them and tell them.

@Hope . April 7th 2023. USCIS live agent insisted it was within normal processing time for my case and said they couldn’t open a service request. So frustrating 😣😣😣

@Halima & T I highly recommend contacting them again and speaking with a different agent. I had to call daily before they finally opened a service request for me. This process has been very frustrating. Do you know if your case has been transferred to a field office yet?
