May 18, 2021: Case was approved!

Did u get the notification on lawful app or was mailed to u?

The app still does not have that I was approved. I called USCIS they told me the case was approve. I spoke to a supervisor who confirmed it & shortly later I saw the approval notice on the document section in the USCIS website.

reason I asked is I jus noticed lawful app probability has changed to 100% on mine, with i30

is this with I485 or stand alone I130?

where can I access the document section on the USCIS website ?

it’s right next to the tab of “case status and case history”

@jennifer, congrats! you had to do an interview for a standalone I-130? where is your spouse?

My spouse is here in the United States but he is detained in ICE custody. We had to do a interview it was extremely brutal. We had a group interview & a stokes interview on the same day.

It had nothing to do with a error that was made with USCIS if that makes sense. Although, him being detained made our process harder in terms of proving that it is a bona fide marriage it also helped. I had nothing to worry about because we been dating since highschoool we are now adults so I had so much documents to show the validity of the marriage/relationship. His case was approved faster because we had two expedited request that was approved. His 1-130 will be approved by the immigration judge instead of the service center.

Thank you it wasn’t easy at all. But God kept me going during the toughest times with him being detained it was a journey in itself. But appreciate the words of encouragement he is a lucky man lol. And I had a good lawyer to.

I’m not to sure I know the timeframe is different fig everyone it depends on how fast the service center works.

Call the USCIS National Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283.

after what i do please show me if you can

click on submit a case assistance request then electronic Form DHS then scroll down you will see a green button that says submit click it lastly fill in the information it’s asking for. once you fill in all information it’s asking for click submit.

you can call them after you do it to follow up it’s the situation is urgent they will pick up your case immediately which was my case if not you will have to wait until someone picks up tug case.

they will notify you via. email so make sure to use a email you use & check frequently

i mean the approval because i contacted him he said he reviewed my case but still nothing

I contacted them & day or two after the contact they told me they will help with my case because my husband qualified for the expedited request. After that they told me to give USCIS 30 days to give me a decision on 1-130 case & within 15 days USCIS made a decision on the case.

I guess it depends on the nature of your inquiry. But they are extremely helpful to me even now I contacted them on my husband 1-485 they are helping me with getting a expedite & a decision on it. My husband completed biometrics on Tuesday and the case been in actively reviewed since July 26, 2021. They told me within 30 days I should receive a decision on husband 1-485 & 1-601 waiver.
