congratulations! do you know if your case was transferred from NBC to field office? if yes, May I ask when and which field office?

hi, i have filed through EB3-1, my PD was in march last week of 2020. I have filed i- 485 in april 2021 concurrently I 765 and I 131, I received my I 131 and I 765 in August. my case was at Nebraska and now on Oct 4 they have transferred my case to NBC, any suggestions?

they mention your case is transferred and a new office has jurisdiction? what does this mean

@Ryan I don’t know exactly when I was transferred to the fo. on sep 1st I got a call from my lawyer saying uscis wanted my medicals. a few days later I got a letter from the uscis for the medical and 485j rfe. the letter came from queens ny fo. I m in Nashville so I figured my interview was waived. I never got any status update rfe sent or received, nor new office has jurisdiction status. it went from fingerprints taken directly to new card is being produced.

@shah I not experienced with a status of new office has jurisdiction. I believe it is within a local fo. pure guess. I recommend you reach out to Emma via chat and ask where your case is at. another suggestion is if you have an approved I-140 you can try to be as much prepared for the medicals as you can. so maybe you call the uscis civil surgeons and start asking prices how long it takes etc. also have the vaccines uscis recommends and get your vaccine records updated. so when you get a medical rfe you know what to do and act fast.

I got letter 2 days back stating my case transferred to national benefit centre, and last I have submitted my medical aswell with all other documents.

@sun, I didn’t file concurrently and I didn’t send my medicals together with 485 application. I just waited for the rfe to come and I replied to it with medicals attached. if it was the case they would have asked me again to send medicals I would just redo it and send new medicals.

@A L, I got an update that fingerprint has been attached to my case, which was taken last year in July. any suggestions?

@shah, it is long time with no updates. I would probably try to reach out to Emma agent and ask why is it taking so long. If no good response I would ask my congressman to help.
