my mom’s i130 went from ‘receipts sent’ to case is being actively reviewed on 3rd February,2025 Her PD is 3rd July,2024 i485 no update yet

my mom’s pd is oct 27th, 2023. I hope it gets approved soon

@Rita Bhandari which service center? did you file online or paper based?

Hi Rita, this evening the i130 was approved . But on the i485 they sent RFE asking for new/recent photographs wonder what was wrong with the ones we sent 7 months ago.

@a m , does it mean they handle form 1 130 and 1 485 interviews differently?

we didn’t have an interview for my mother But I do think i130 and i485 get approved separately first i130 and then i485

Hi @a m maybe they required 6 months earlier photograph. Lucky you that you got something it’s been 1 month since my mom I130 approved but there is no any change on her I485. 🥲
