my community I’m writing this with tears I can believe I was finally approved. I took everybody’s advice and wrote to my congresswoman I think that was the pushing factor. I’m so happy I’m just sitting here in disbelief.

hey @Esi A thanks and i wrote to them after 2years and 9mths. yes i would advice ppl to do it because i did my adjustment of status interview July 2023 and my status didn’t even change to interview was completely. until, i reached out to congress about a month then they reached out via emailed a week ago saying that they reached out to USCIS and they’ll keep me posted. only to get a notification yesterday that my interview was completed and they’re now reviewing my case. woke up this morning checked the official website and it was updated to case approved

@Mrs SIMMs I m crossing 2 years soon so can I contact after 2 years a congressman our should I need to wait more then 2 years please advise????

@Singh USA 🇺🇸 honestly I don’t think you have to wait that long the only reason why it took me so long because I didn’t know how to do it.
go on this website put in your zip code:
https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
then go on your congressperson website and go under service then help with a federal agency after that you’ll see immigration then follow the instructions

Congratulations @Mrs SIMMs .. I feel you and am so happy for you.. thanks for the advice. I recently filed for the FOIA and they are actively reviewing my case .. If I didn’t get any response after 7-14 business days . I will sure follow your instructions Mine also was never updated that the interview was completed and my RFE response was never updated too since 6/4/2023.
