thanks all. @Mo Oni I140 was filed in sept 2024 (approved in 2 weeks with PP). Im ROW so not sure if that matters. @Najeeb Ullah @Molly A: no dependent, just me.

hey! huge congrats on your approval!!! could you please specify, you didn’t submit birth certificate initially or they didn’t accept translation or something? I’m preparing to submit I-485 based on approved eb1a (I-140) and trying to figure out beforehand, in what format birth certificate shall be, and why so many people get RFE for birth certificate, thanks!!

@Alice h thank you!! i submitted Birth cert and translation by my country org. i think those were not very formal and the translation was not recognized by a good US translation company, so it could be why they requested for RFIE. (my lawyer didnt flag this issue to me before and accepted my doc). as a result, i would recomemnd send in a copy of the ORGINAL BIRTH CERT along with certified translation from Immi translate + their notary mark. then you should be fine

@Molly A I have seen some post in the commmunity that they have dependences and got approval before me. maybe you should be fine!
