API
Hi folks! My API keeps getting null. Does API work for your EB2-NIW pending I140? Do you need to have your case linked to your USCIS account for it work? I tried linking my case but I did not work..

@Jad A yes your case supposed to be linked with your USCIS online account then you can able to see your api details

@mak dely Thanks. I tried adding it several times before and my lawyer said “receipt numbers beginning with "IOE" cannot be linked to a USCIS online account. This limitation is not related to the fact that your case was filed by your legal representative (our firm). Rather, it is a known system-wide issue affecting all I-140 cases with "IOE" receipt numbers.” is this true? if so how can others add theirs?!

@Jad A you filed i-140 or 485 ? if you’ve issued IOE the you can able to add case. check your USCIS receipt, you will see OAC code there, add by yourself if you that code.

normally employer files i140 and because of that you cannot add it to you USCIS account if they have already. even if you ask Emma you most likely won’t get info as the attorneys are the representative for that case.
