Staying outside the US for five months is not advisable, you could have received an RFE or a decision could have been made while you were outside.

@TJay . I was away for almost 6 months last year.(Check out my previous posts) Our circumstances and priorities are not the same. That said, to everyone with a clean record who has to travel with the AP, do not listen to any fear mongers. The document is issued for a purpose. Make use of it. Stay blessed.

hi, would really appreciate if you answer my question, im planning to travel , all i need is a passport and combo card with has Advance parole on it right? or do i need any other document Waiting for your reply , thanks

@alex rodi You need your passport and AP document. For added security purposes, I would carry the Notice of action for my USCIS cases and state ID. Goodluck.
