Aos waiting for EB2 employment based
hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has experienced changing the during aos process, pd is may 2, 2023 for me for ROW. I was f1 student phd in math and then opt now h1b and waiting for aos. just curious is there any risk to change the job during this time ? should I take the offer and start h1b transfer and ask company submit supplement j ? anyone has had such experience? thanks #eb2 #h1b

Has it been more than 180 days since you filed 485 AOS? If yes then it should be fine imo since you can use AC21 portability clause. Your new employer will need to file i485j supplement after you start the new role.

also interested in the stories from I485J. I am looking into a new employer with a similar function (same industry, also working with projects, slightly different work scope). My question is how smooth this process is and what are important things to assure in the documentation.
