No approval yet from USCIS but I've seen requirements for the NVC stage and one of it is the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864). Can we file this while waiting for the approval of our petition?

We had to wait for the approval and then our case was sent to NVC. We were assigned login information, case number, etc. then we were be able to pay IV application and Affividat of support fees.
