@gh jh I see lots of approval from our Pd’s. I know lots of people from Aug, Sept are atill waiting but there is approval as well. Just asking if someone from NY got any updates recently or not. I know everybody time will come and all we can do is wait. I know someone got approved from their last week and asking people if they had any approval or any progress.

Same here I just responsed for RFE 2 weeks ago but nothing updated yet

my case transferred from NY to indianapolis 🙄 live agent told me, PD 10/05/21, last updated 01/01/25 CRP , interview, I 693, I 485J -all done

@Lucas Anton when your RFE got delivered than they might have started the final background process and it is taking time between 2-6 weeks. Usually background check takes up to 72 hours and visa allocation and all takes between couple weeks.

@Jittu K I’m asking a weekly follow-up for an update. On May 11, I was informed that my case had been transferred to the Indianapolis Field Office (05/06). My local field office is Brooklyn, I had my interview at the Federal Plaza.

@Jittu K so what do you think when can I get approval since I responsed for rfe?

@Lucas Anton I believe July or early August. One of my friend at Dallas FO had interview last week (pd current) and officer told him to wait at least couple weeks as they have huge backlog. Same with our case, couple weeks ago Dallas FO transferred couple hundreds cases to NBC & NBC to non FO, and we started getting RFE’s.

@Jittu K my case is exactlly same your case pd 11/2021 and transfered from nbc to ny fo and we also just responsed for rfe as well. Please keep in touch with me. Hopefully we both can get approved asap. I believe that NY FO processing faster than other am I right?

@Lucas Anton Sure. Will let you know if I get any updates on my end. Rightnow my status is fingerprints were taken. It. changed from CRP to fingerprints around 2 weeks ago.

@F M Got approved today. Yesterday dependent case went from CRP to Interview cancelled and notice ordered Today, 8 am morning Case approved for both.

@Sammy Thank you. Yes, It was transferred from NBC to NY Federal Plaza. I submitted service inquiry and got response within 4 days and got to know my case was there on June 1st week 2026. After 2 days of inquiry response, case went to Fingerprints were taken (talked with emma later, re-use for background). After 3 weeks, dependent case went to interview cancelled ( next day GC approved for both)

@Lucas Anton I had my interview last year and I submitted all required documents including new medical during interview.
