Hello. Every case is different, some may take months. Others may take years. You need to be patient. Basically, you just sent the forms. I hope you get an answer soon. But don’t rush! ^^

I’ve been waiting for 16 months now

it took me 320 days. approved two days ago

@Orla M what was the process for you after your status changed to actively reviewing? did they approve or did you have to do other things?

mine is June 21 2021 in Potomac center, on February 30 of 2022 I got a message saying that they are actively reviewing the case by uscis agent, nothing else yet

I applied for 130 April 2021. my case was reviewed September 2021 and then nothing. I got bored and impatient so I sent in a K3 application and my 130 was approved 3 weeks later. I really recommend looking up 129F/K3. it’s free if you filed 130 and I really think it helped. there’s no way I wasn’t approved because of it. it changed to actively reviewing march 14 and then that evening there was an approval in my documents in the online account

Orla, I thought that you have to pay for the K3, and if it was approved and you are over seas how it works?

like I said Laura if you applied for the 130 first then the K3 is free. K3 are rarely approved so I wasn’t worried about it. It did it’s job by pushing my i30 through :)
