The instructions for booking biometric and medical appointments are given in the interview letter??? And I have a lawyer, so will the lawyer book everything or should I? btw i am waiting for IL

no need ro visit mumbai 3 times @M Naaz Haque you can do your biometric one day before at mumbai but there is another locations also i have all three done at diffrent. locations all are appointment taken by agent he know better

it was easy just basic question they ask about marriage and husband after a week we can collect our passport @M Naaz Haque

@p k @paul paul I have a question. After the CR1 visa interview at the Mumbai Embassy, do we have to return to Mumbai to pick up passport from the VFS center?if no then do you know When and how to provide an address for obtaining a passport

@M Naaz Haque hi, when you get your interview letter they will make you book a biometric appointment and choose how do you want to get your passport: such as you want to pick it up in person or you want it to bw delivered to an address it could be your home address but they will charge 1200 rs for that.

@paul paul I have a few questions regarding this. When I registered on the ustraveldocs website and completed the application, I selected the premium passport pickup address. However, I did not see any option to make the payment. Could you please let me know when the payment for the premium pickup is required? Also, could you please explain why the portal is showing “No slots available” for biometric appointments?

@M Naaz Haque hi, for the premium payment passport I believe they will charge you at the time of delivery of your document and as for the availability of the slots concerns they run out of slots very fast. try different locations and you still might have to book for an earlier appointment.. just a suggestion when you find a availability book that right away otherwise you might loose that too.. and good luck!

I just wanted to clarify that I have been checking the portal 2–3 times every day for the past week, but it always shows “No slots available.” Also, in the location dropdown, I can see only Mumbai IV — no other VAC locations are appearing for me. Could you please let me know if this is normal or if there is anything else I should do?

this is normal and i would book the available appointment in Mumbai. its very important before the interview. delaying could couse problems in the process of visa interview.. i had to get that done in mumbai only… belive me waiting is not going to open slots near by. i have tried that.

@paul paul Thank you for your response. I understand, but in my case even Mumbai slots are not showing as available. It always shows ‘No slots available,’ so I am unable to book anything. Could you please tell me how you were able to book your appointment? Maybe I am missing some step.

@M Naaz Haque oh. thats the problem with this i was late to book only by 1 day and the slots were almost full. if you are seeing slots full your doing it right.. i had to book my appointment 15 days before the interview. look for other locations and keep checking. something should open up
