I’m from October 2020 , my vawa approved march 2024 , until my 485 still same .

I had an interview before but but lawyer cancelled because right before she sent out Vawa so this was this was sent originally as a marriage petition

3 years VAWA GC WORK PERMIT AND TRAVEL PERMIT still under process. didn’t even receive prima facie. I don’t understand I provided restraining order from the family court and police report court as proof of abuse by my ex husband. idk why they are not approving my case.

i applied 2018 and was approved 2024. your time is coming. they are probably doing background check

@Ayoosh good day.. did you file category c09 or c31. do you have a lawyer on your case??

@Mrkvica M. how and y does their background check take eternity. last time I reached out to the senator, was told case pending security check and vawa filed Nov 2020

@Noble One how long is it from june to usually get a response ?

@mm AA i don't know how and why but I was also stuck there. And as soon uscis received results, they made a decision

@blessed nikay I have lawyers and they applied for C09 but the uscis put my category under C31 wonder if they USCIS BEING SUSSY.

mine is under c31 before it was under cr1 I think

@ orli L c09 filed with adjustments of status.. you will get your ead card in 4 to 9 months category c31 you will have to wait 3yrs when your 1360 is approved then you get a ead card / work permit and Ap..
