yes I just waited a year plus 2 days for my EAD approval but it is not very common

really that’s very bad , I’m so much worried USCIS taking ever n keep changing time processing n so on

@Fred Leonard - the processing times on the website are not accurate. If you can show them proof of financial hardship you may be able to expedite it. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get an approval very soon. 🤞

so why will USCIS play with our mind ? so if long wait means there is a problem in the case ? but I see others got fast approval though ?

@Fred Leonard it’s probably not a problem with your case. they’re just sloooooowwww. I got my EAD at biometrics day but didn’t get my AP until 11.5 months. no idea why

really that’s so so long to wait, you got patience, I’m just worried they keep ead long then my green card will take forever , I know work permit comes first ,

I got my combo card after 17 months..so yeah.. you are good

@Fred Leonard my card came after 8 months. The waiting is the hardest part.

8 months for ead that’s almost a year , so why USCIS promise they prioritize cases 2024. that’s whole immigration thing is not by Oder , becus even if a case need more evidence don’t sit on it , for a year before respond , f if we had known this we will have do this earlier , cool we all waiting .. will get you guys updates !

today I got a message we have taken action on your case. I checked all the documents tab nothing there , is this an error , should I ignore it , becus I’m confuse . real human send this message or automatic pls any advise ?
