My lawyer doesn’t want to do pp

Mine is 3 years since last month (April 2026). Now one of the ban countries. So I don’t even know what next. The last time I heard from USCIS was September last year when I got an RFE for my school transcript.

submit case inquiry through the website, if that is done and didn’t help, reach out to the congressman in your district, if that doesn’t yield results, file a case with USCIS ombudsman

you got RFE maybe your case was not strong enough or had issues in prep. anyway for most doesn't matter even having it anymore. mine approved immidietly in 2023 over 700 citations however never current until oct to Nov 2025. filed and then paused basically no officer adjudicating me. stranded my visa renewal also paused

@Johana Almeida that is true but I feel they following a policy of putting people in anything pending since last Dec. my h1b extension over 300 days pending too. if you are not from countries in the list you will be OK eventually you might present more data before approved

I got my H1b approved without pp in April. I applied in February. it took almost 2 months to be approved. My I-140 has been pending since July, 2023 🤷‍♀️
