i have DACA and i came in illegally.. and i got my advanced parole last year.. and i used it I went to Mexico for 3 weeks and came back with no problem at all..

It’s even best for you to travel and once returned your initial illegal entry will be removed completely.

hi everyone, I wanted to update everyone about my experience with traveling on advance parole. I came back yesterday safely and I’m home now. when I go to the port of entry in San Francisco I went up to a customs Border patrol officer. I handed him my passport, advance parole notice, and document. He looked at it and the only questions that he asked me was where I live and who do I live with. then I was sent to the secondary inspection where I sat for about 15 minutes because there was a couple of people in front of me. There the officer reviewed my paperwork, looked in the computer, and then after reviewing everything handed back my documents and told me to have a great day. I wasn’t asked any further questions. I was extremely relieved once I was handed my documents and told to exit to get my luggage. I think that if you have a pending adjustment of status it is completely safe to travel. I was also told not to travel by my lawyers because I had an illegal entry but I was paroled back into the country with no problems.

@careli p thank you for this update really scared to travel with advance parole, i came in on B1/B2 visa and have been in US for 7yrs have two USC kids and have a pending vawa cause from my abusive marriage to a USC and we have a child together

@aj I have the same situation. my lawyer said we can travel. it’s safe. bcoz we entered legally.

@sam thanks my lawyer said same thing too. that it’s safe and never had issues with other clients that have gone and come back to the USA

Your initial illegal entry into the United States is completely deleted cos, of your recent legal entry(Paroled) most of the immigration lawyers here actually doesn’t know much meanwhile, how long or did you stay out of the United States with your AP more than a month?
