if I was in your shoes I won’t go anywhere because the border patrol is unpredictable and Nigeria is kinda blacklisted. For me it’s not worth the risk, I won’t step a foot out side this country until I get permanent residency. it’s your choice . May she Rest In Peace.

i just travel to nigeria with advance parole (Vawa) no question was asked i went through delta , atlanta to nigeria them from nigeria to atlanta except that i waited for like 3mins for them to stamp my passport thats all.

Arrived through Logan Airport in Boston with my Advance Parole document and it was a smooth entrance by the Customs and Immigration at the Airport. Infact I was welcomed back and my passport was Stamped because it's my first usage with AP. Go with your traveling plan with AP if you don't have a criminal record.

I overstayed. I am on VAWA and AOS. I traveled with my AP for 4 weeks and came back yesterday smoothly

That's not true. The only hindrance with AP is if you have a criminal record. It doesn't matter how long you overstayed, what matter is that you must start AOS and obtain AP before you travel. In summary, you can travel with AP not minding your overstay if you have ongoing AOS.

I went for my mom's funeral. Any reason is okay provided you don't have criminal record. Overspend is a misdranour and may be considered minor offence...ask your lawyer.

Please if you have AP you are free to travel provided you don't have criminal record. Overstay doesn't matter anymore with your AP... The only thing is that you will wait in the secondary room for only 3 minutes for your passport to be stamped in. I spent 4 weeks...dont stay too long too... Have a blessed day!

Yes, i just came back from Nigeria 4weeks ago and i was paroled in easily, no question was asked expect that i waited for just 5mins to stamp my passport.

Am on Vawa not with my wife anymore. No hassles at all they dont even ask me any question. I went through delta airline from Jersey to Atlanta then to Nigeria . Same thing when am coming back njg to Atlanta then to Jersey.

People that are on Vawa are so free than tbose with their wife because they can ask you about your wife once they verify your EAD card but the moment they check your Vawa Ead card they already know you only have case wirh the Governmemt and until they decide your case u re free to go and come back. i had a friend that is on Vawa Ead he went home twice last yr and no hassle

Hello friends. I just want to let us know especially those of us with AP...you can travel seamlessly provided you don't have any criminal record to your name. My second time of going to Nigeria with my AP...it was so easy and free to be welcomed by the CBP at Logan. I spent only 2 minutes at the secondary room where my passport was stamped for one year... Use your AP without fear!

I put in for my applications for I 485, I360,I765 and I 131 in April 19 2021 and got my EAD and AP in November 2021. My I485 and I 1360 still remain on Receive without it moving. What do I do?
