73 days after USCIS approved our case and still nothing from NVC!
our K1 visa was approved on Nov 22, but we didnt receive the welcome letter from NVC yet, it has been 73 days now. We tried calling NVC, but they suspended this service, we sent online inquiry, but still haven’t heard from them. Anyone with similar experience or any information on how long does this all take?
We thought once USCIS approved, things would go faster…..Really desperate here…….#nvc#k1

It can take up to 90 days to get a welcome letter. Send another inquiry asking for your case number, so that you can check your status on the CEAC website!

we are facing the same situation as well. we contacted them and they told us at the end of February. It has be 25 days now.

I was approved November 7. I got my case number by inquiry. it’s at the NVC. this is really ridiculous why is it taking so long?!!

we have checked spam and everything…i sent the inquiry last week, still waiting for them to answer. every day is a torment at this point…a never ending nightmare..!

they respond to inquiries within 3-4days. just ensure you’re doing it correctly.

In a similar situation, our K1 petition was approved on November 27th...Hopefully in a couple of weeks there will be positive news....This waiting is becoming unbearable!

@mitch A, you can find the inquiry form online on NVC website. They replied to me after 3/4 days giving me the case number and saying:
“You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General.”
But i see there are steps in between that have to be done, such as pay the invoice, send some documents as well…? And only after the NVC reviews all this, they will send the case to their embassy in my country…But we cant even proceed to take these steps because we never received a letter from NVC…
Complete confusion….!
