💚 I still can’t believe it. I cried when I saw the update. After years of living in fear, uncertainty, and so many setbacks I finally got my green card. I fought hard. I did everything I could. I almost gave up... but I held on.
👩👦 My 21 year-old son filed for me. It wasn’t always easy, but today, I know it was worth every tear and every sleepless night.
To anyone still waiting: your turn will come. Don’t lose hope. Trust the process, advocate for yourself, and keep going even when it feels impossible.

Did you filed the I-130 first or together with the I-485?

I filed everything together (concurrent filing) I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131.
For the I-485, I submitted:
My birth certificate (with certified translation)
My passport (current and expired)
I-94
Medical exam (I-693)
Proof of entry and status
Proof of relationship with my U.S. citizen son (his birth certificate, passport, etc.)
My sponsor submitted:
I-864 (Affidavit of Support)
W2 and tax transcript
Pay stubs
Employment letter
I didn’t have an interview — my case was approved without one. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!
