@No Name Given chances are it is that. I didn't submit my medical with my I485 and they sent me an RFE. Try and get the medical done asap and send it in as quickly as possible. If you can afford it, send it via overnight courier. The faster you can submit and get it in, the faster you may get a response. This was my experience.
