@beth.. it’s just a request for additional evidence. you aren’t able to read the description with the RFE???

i can’t find if what the documents they are need. I already check the case status tool online and I just see the case is being actively reviewed

Congrats dee w but I agree with others who are advising you to not be present in the interview. I would love to fly out and be present with my husband but I’ve heard it is advisable to not go. The officer may ask you to wait outside or you may have to reschedule with you not present. It will look as if you’re helping him in some way but you will be hurting him in the process. You will be together forever.. after the interview so please reconsider your options. Congrats again! I can’t wait to book my husband’s flight from Uganda!

@tracey. thanks for the detailed insight … please forgive me for asking, as I really am just tryna to ā€˜get it’… so, being as tho there are ppl out there that do this sh*t for ulterior motives, we, the ones that truly met and fell for one another long distance, basically get looked upon the same when in reality, we’re just tryna be there & actually SHOW THEM like hey I’m here, WE’RE here, it’s a long time coming, we’ve been patient and am tryna show y’all that this is sumthin real….so bcuz of the bs’ers… sumthin as simple as showing up to support my spouse can/will be frowned upon…? oh gosh… that being said, I’ve read plenty of couples went together & the immigration officer said that that was a good thing … but again, this isn’t my profession, I work on cars for a living lmao.

@happywife.. I mean, I’m going lol. my attorney hasn’t ever steered us wrong for years now. the research I’ve done is the opposite. to each their own. but it doesn’t make logical sense to me. plus, we’ve planned this for forever now. i am attending it.
d
dee w10 de jul de 2022
@happy wife same with me. even on lawfully as well I’ve seen where ppl have went. i mean, it is what it is. everyone has different experiences depending on their end goal. u gotta keep in mind too, there’s ppl out there that do this crap solely for monetary gain or just to gain entry to the states. there’s the bad apples that ruin it for the ppl the have truly met someone & have been together for awhile & want to continue life together like anyone else. so, at the end of the day, I do my research, I do my due diligence, but ultimately I make my own decisions based upon how I feel, what my mind and heart tell, what my attorney says, what the US Embassy in JA says… there’s been success stories with both going & there’s been success stories with them going by their self so….. it’s just one of those things ya know. either way, I pray all goes well for u and your husband, I pray y’all get approved after the interview & I pray that you both have an amazing marriage and life!
