@usc 7700 they will test you for all the vaccines that you were supposed to get as a kid. You need to have updated tetanus shot and covid shot. They will test you for STD's

@usc 7700 I don't know by heart, but if you google vaccines, you will be able to find whole list on USCIS website. You will have to get COVID vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine and tetanus shot (according to american laws, you have to get tetanus shot every 10 years)

i got the security social number, but the green card not yet. i have seen different posts that show the process of green card but can anyone help me if there is any option to see it through Lawfully or anywhere else? I also don’t have the online access code, only the receipt number. Please let me know, it’s been a month and still waiting..

@usc 7700 no worries. So, first, find civil surgeons in your area and call like 10 of them. They have different prices. I have health insurance so civil surgeon did blood work through my insurance. Not all of them are willing to do that so when you call ask them what is covered under that price. Do you have health insurance? And before going to civil surgeon, I got all shots that I know I miss (I did some at CVS and some at my doctoe. Make sure to get a proof of vaccines)

@usc 7700 when did you take last covid shot? You can't go to your doctor and do the blood work. Civil surgeon has to do that, and that's why you have to call and find civil surgeon who wants to do blood work through your insurance

@usc 7700 civil surgeon does the blood work to test for antibodies so it can confirm what vaccines you received as a kid. But they will not test you for Hep B, tetanus and covid. If you don't have a proof of getting those vaccine, you better call your doctor tomorrow and make an appt for those shots

If you didn't get tetanus shot in the past 10 years, you will have to get that as well. Do you have a proof of getting hepatitis B vaccine? Civil surgeon will not test you for that - so, if you don't have a proof, you need to get that too

@usc 7700 some people had their interview waived and some not. There are no rules. Some people got decision in a month and some are waiting 2 years, but it looks like average is 6 - 9 months

@usc 7700 look up form I-693 pdf version and it will let you know what is needed. if you had you any childhood vaccines have your PCP run antigen blood work to confirm you can also have your PCP run the other tests for STI’s just make sure they are the correct procedure then have them fax them to the civil surgeon for them to sign that way you’re not spending $600 plus for the exact same tests your insurance can cover.

@usc 7700 The blood tests are to find out if there are venereal diseases and the vaccines they ask for are Covid 19, MMR, Hepatitis B, TDAP and if it is Flue season they also tell you at the clinic that you have to get it, The clinic prepares the form. They only ask that you read and sign a sheet of that form that is in English and that is so that you can grant immigration access to check your medical record.

@usc 7700 The clinic will give you a sealed envelope that you must send to immigration and they will give you a copy for your record.

@usc 7700 Yes, you have to wait for immigration to send you a letter notifying you to send them. They will send you that letter notifying you to which address you will send them and until the deadline you have to send them. Long before this letter, immigration will send you an orange letter and this is only to let you know that they are working on your case and that you can prepare your vaccination record, (no blood tests)

@idk 🙂 🥱 It's a courtesy letter that immigration sends you shortly time after your Vawa has been approved. This only happens if you have not yet sent your medical exams. Immigration sends it to you to let you know that your medical exams are still pending and that when it is your time on the line, They will send you another letter asking you to send them.

I contacted the congressman of my city and immigration sent them a letter explaining that my case was still in the waiting line. That was in the middle of last year, good luck in your case and be patient as these processes are very long.

@joa rf las prima face no las pide el peticionario, esas cartas solo quedan a consideration de USCIS si te las quiere seguir enviando o no, e escuchado que hay casos que no los reciben y otros casos que reciben mas de 3 en cuanto avanza sus casos. recuerda que todos estos casos son diferentes.

@joa rf mis fechas son paquete separado pues en principio mi abogado envio paquete completo, El envio una forma de para exonerar el pago de recidencia pero fue rechazado, entonces solo me enviaron para atras la i485 Ellos solo aceptarom mi Vawa en 30 de marzo 2020, vino la pandemic y no pude enviar el pago me quede sin trabajo, cuando pude mande a pagar mi i485 y ahi fue q me lo aceptaron eso paso en 8 de abril 2021por eso mi paquete fue separado pues soy por ciudadano y no tendria q haber pasado eso pero lamenteblemente ese fue mi caso. mi vawa fue aprobado en Junio 2022 y mi i485 1 de mayo 2024 me lleve los 4 an̈os por todo desde el 2020. solo dejame decirte q aqui en la oficina de Maryland es Un poco tardado tambien. pues aqui e tenido conocidos que no an tenido ese contratiempo mio y tambien se les a tardado, tienes que tener mucha paciencia yo envie varios inquiry por escrito y nunca me contestaban y contacte a mi congresista en noviembre 2023 y solo le dijeron q estaba en la cola, pero gracias a Dios al fin se acordaron de mi. te deseo mucha suerte y si tiene otra duda no dude en preguntarme. gracias
