So, I see that there a lot of approvals for marriage based I-485 green card petition and i am very happy for everyone getting approved.
Congratulations to you all! 🎊💕☕
However, it seems as though employment based EB1 cases in particular are being slow these days. In fact, there has been so many RFIE (Request for initial evidence) sent out to so many of us.
Once we respond, we begin to wait to see our cases moving. Is this same for you?
I've been waiting 55 days now after USCIS received my response to RFIE! I know I should not be complaining AND i am actually not. I'm just wondering why it takes forever to approve a case, why frustrating well meaning people wanting to do things LEGIT in a country where people are getting wealthy doing ILLEGAL s&*🤮
What's happening? How long have you been waiting? Who Knows? #EB1 #GreenCard

very true. RFE either for birth certificate or medical. Even EAD for this block of applications have slowed a deal. my block is MSC24903-67, priority date Jan 2023 but I485, and the other former were submitted in January 2024. Biometrics, RFE and response to RFE have all followed in that other. Over 100 day already and no EAD

Same here, EB1 and RFE (birth certificate) received in March, still no response...

I received a RFE for medical even though I had submitted my medicals. My wife received no RFE, guess they lost my medicals. My case is at NBC, 20+ days since RFE receipt.

@Raj S 20 days is nothing 😂 I’m on day 56 now. sigh. hang in there after mine you’ll get yours . lol 😂 just kidding

@Joe joe it’s for birth certificates for me and my wife. USCIS is very smart and are just buying time to attend to other type of cases . My wife got her own from the Uk and I got mine from my country.

Almost 80 days since filing. no rfe so far, transfer to NBC for more than 65 days. still waiting. BTW, always current EB1-C
