i think it’s a positive sign that USCIS is actively looking into your application (they took 8 months after submission to send me an RFIE 🙄) i wouldn’t worry about an RFIE, an RFIE is for initial evidence, i.e, documents that you should have submitted as part of the initial application but are missing (copy original birth certificate, translated birth certificate, medicals, I-485J, etc.)

@Joe joe, it is good news. Just as @J A. 🇱🇧🇺🇸 mentioned, it would be things other than medicals as RFIE isn't for medicals. Based on your information, it seems we have similar i485 timeline. We sent in our i485 which was delivered on March 27. We just received our receipt notice yesterday but no finger print request yet. Please how long apart did you receive your notices? Thanks

I received RFIE recently and later came to know that was already medicals.so we never know

I wish if it is for medicals 🙏

I think is for medicals, we got our RFIE a mth and a half after filling

yep we got RFIE on Jan 16 for medicals, sent it back Feb 16 and got approval May 2
